Safety is the number one priority of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, and we are doing everything possible to keep our Club members, staff, and community protected from the COVID-19 virus.
In alignment with our school district partners, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver (BGCMD) has made the decision to close our Clubs to serving kids effective Monday, March 16, through the duration of the school district closures. During that time, we will deep clean the Clubs and work with local health authorities to ensure that all kids, staff, and volunteers are safe when the Club reopens.
We will be closely monitoring and evaluating the situation to ensure we are following the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s public health recommendations to protect our communities. In the meantime, we are advising all our Club staff, families, and youth to continue to take precautions as recommended by CDPHE and the Centers for Disease Control.
At Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, we do everything we can to remain open and serve families and children, especially when other options are not available. However, the health and safety of our youth, families, staff, volunteers and community is our top priority.
Thank you for your understanding. Our commitment to the children and families of the Denver Metro community is unwavering, and we will keep you updated as we know more.
