On June 1, Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club hosted the fourth annual March for Peace in the Montbello neighborhood. March for Peace is a movement started by members and alumni of Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club Naja’Ray W. (2023 State Youth of the Year) and Nashara E. (2024 State Youth of the Year).
This annual event aims to help bring awareness to the needs and strengths of the Montbello community. The March is a 5K run/walk and is a chance for the community to come together and connect in a positive way. Various activities at the event promoted physical and mental wellness while building lasting relationships and fostering a sense of community.
The dedication and leadership of Nashara and Naja’Ray showcase how Club programs allow young leaders to take initiative in ways that are meaningful to them and make a positive impact on their community.
