Jack A. Vickers Invitational raises $1 million for Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver

On May 19th through May 21st, more than 100 players participated in the eighth annual Jack A. Vickers Invitational at Castle Pines Golf Club. This three-day golf tournament, hosted by Jack Vickers and John Elway, raised more than $1 million for Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.

Jack A. Vickers, who was recently awarded the PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award, has been a long-time supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver (BGCMD).Over its 34-year history, Castle Pines Golf Club and Mr. Vickers have contributed more than $7.5 million in cash and in-kind services to BGCMD. The Jack A. Vickers Invitational hosted by John Elway was launched in 2008 and has raised more than $5.4 million.

To recognize Mr. Vickers for his ongoing partnership, the Boys & Girls Club inside the Nancy P. Anschutz Center in Park Hill was officially named the Jack A. Vickers Boys & Girls Club when it opened in 2013.
