Meet Naja’Ray, City Senior Youth of the Year

Naja'Ray (Ray Ray) West has been a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver for the past 12 years. During her time at the Club, she has become a vital member and leader of the Broncos Boys & Girls Club. As the president of the Keystone Club, a city-wide Boys & Girls Club community service organization, Ray Ray has been the project manager for many events, including the Father/Daughter dance, family nights, a Black History Month fashion show, and more. For the past three years, Ray Ray has also been the co-project manager for March for Peace, a 5K run that brings community members together in the spirit of community, peace, and building a better future. The March for Peace has become an annual event hundreds of community members participate in and look forward to each spring. While planning and participating in these events, Naja'Ray has developed her leadership skills and much more. She said, "the Club has had an impact and has helped me take the next steps in life without being afraid to step out. The Club is my second home; without it, I wouldn't know what to do."

We are incredibly proud Naja'Ray, and we can’t wait for you to meet her at our Dreamers & Leaders Gala this April!
