Dear Friends,
Spring is an inspiring time when we celebrate our members’ achievements and goals. Nothing is more exciting than hearing our Club kids share their accomplishments and give voice to their dreams, as they do during our annual Youth of the Year competition.
Youth of the Year is a national program that has honored and celebrated Boys & Girls Clubs’ most promising and driven Club members for over 75 years. This month, Club members 10 through 18 gathered to share their experiences, beliefs, and aspirations for the future with members of our Board, staff, and community. These bright young leaders exemplify character, citizenship, service, and Club values. Each one of them is positively influencing their peers, Clubs, and our collective future. I’m incredibly proud of all the young men and women who participated, and look forward to celebrating our winners at our upcoming Dreamers & Leaders Gala this April!
Thank you for your continued engagement and support. When we join together in our shared mission, we have immense power to create and sustain safe, fun, and engaging spaces for kids across Metro Denver. I look forward to sharing more news and inspiring stories in the months to come.

Meet Our City Youth of the Year Winners!
Youth of the Year is Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s premier leadership and recognition program, distinguishing and celebrating the extraordinary achievements of Club members who embody character, leadership, service, academic excellence, and healthy lifestyles.
Being selected as Youth of the Year is Boys & Girls Clubs’ highest honor, and Club members earn scholarships at each level of the competition. The Youth of the Year program helps young people develop their leadership and communication skills through an extensive application and interview process that is held during the annual competition.
2023 Gala: Dreamers & Leaders

Join us at the 2023 Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver’s gala in celebration and support of our Club members: Dreamers & Leaders, Presented by Suncor. Our annual gala is a night of connection and celebration, raising critical funds that help members turn their big dreams into real possibilities.
This is an inspiring night where you will meet our Youth of the Year winners, enjoy a chef-designed three-course dinner, dance the night away at a silent disco, and bid on exciting silent auction items.

Partner Spotlight: Zenith Home Loans
Zenith Home Loans has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver for nearly a decade. In 2021, they committed to becoming a Clubhouse Sponsor, funding the Zenith Home Loans Learning Center at our William E. Cope Boys & Girls Club from 2021 - 2023. Their support funds academic programming for more than 500 active Club members daily throughout the school year and the summer.
While their sponsorship alone has been transformational, what is even more inspiring about Zenith Home Loans is the genuine care and engagement their teammates and families express for our mission. They volunteer in our Clubs, serve as Youth of the Year judges, sponsor events, and contribute personally. They have even begun offering free educational seminars for our Club families and staff. We are grateful to all at Zenith Home Loans for their steadfast support and to Jacalyn Forléo, Senior Mortgage Loan Originator at Zenith, who serves on our Board of Directors.

Annual Report
2022 was a year of growth and joy. Thanks to the support champions like you, we connected with over 23,000 kids, as well as their families, schools, and communities during the 2021-2022 school year.
