We are excited to shine the spotlight on Justine Baca, a dedicated Club Director whose passion and creativity have shaped a vibrant and welcoming space at KIPP Sunshine Peak Boys & Girls Club.
Justine’s journey with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver began 17 years ago, spanning roles in Healthy Lifestyles to serving as a Teen Specialist. Over the years, she has devoted herself to mentoring youth and cultivating a culture rooted in kindness, creativity, and respect.
At KIPP Sunshine Peak Boys & Girls Club, her commitment to going above and beyond is evident in the unforgettable experiences she plans for Club members. From inflatable bingo nights and ramen noodle bars to pumpkin paint & sips and TikTok challenge nights, her signature "Fun Fridays" are a Club favorite.
“The Club members always say, ‘Miss, you’re so extra, you go all out.’ It fills my heart when their eyes light up, and they realize all of this was done just for them,” Justine shared. Along with creating memorable experiences, she focuses on teaching essential life skills and fostering resilience, helping members navigate challenges with confidence and grace. Her thoughtful approach and warm leadership style ensure that every kid feels valued, respected, and safe.
At KIPP Sunshine Peak Boys & Girls Club, members experience more than just creative and engaging programming—they embrace a culture of respect and excellence. Justine’s dedication to fostering an environment where kids can express their uniqueness and feel appreciated has set a lasting tone for the Club. “When you visit KIPP, you’ll find kids with great manners, who respect staff and each other,” Justine shared. “That’s the culture we’ve built together.”
